Re: Helicopter Controls for Condor

I have a similar question, although in this case I'm talking about just the pedals. Am I correct in saying they are similar to regular pedals but without the spring centering? These are the ones I'm looking at: http://oe-xam-simulators.blogspot.com.au/2015/05/anti-torque-pedals.html https://3.bp.blo...

Re: Looking at building a portable simulator - thoughts/advice?

Hey Wikid

You wont be able to use Condor for that field of view I'm afraid. Condor is limited as to how wide it can go. The best (off the top of my head) is something like 2048x680 I think.

Re: Starting with cockpit turned off and different view angle

Tima you're a champion! Thanks for the help, that's exactly what I was looking for. I've been playing Condor for many years (pretty much since it was released) and I've never noticed those options before. There are also options for smoothing and panning which help as well. I guess that's what you ge...

Re: Dg-800 cocpit dimensions?

A quick google search shows this:

I would imagine that would be enough to scale from.

Starting with cockpit turned off and different view angle

Hi All The Sim is progressing to the point where I actually got to fly it the other day :D See: http://soarabilitysim.blogspot.com/ My question is whether the default view at the start of the flight and for the F1 button can be modified. At the moment when I start, I have to remove the normal cockpi...

Hi Everyone

It's been a while, but there is a new post on my simulator blog.

The fuselage has been installed in the trailer, and I'm pretty happy with how it's all progressing. Check it out at:

Video glasses and trackIR?

Hi Everyone This may have been asked before, but I've had a bit of a look around the forum and cant see anything specifically. A lot of people (including myself) fly with trackIR. I have thought for a while now that combining this with some video glasses and the TrackIR set at 1:1: scaling would giv...

Re: Reversing axis`

Thanks for the replies guys. Andy - I am actually using all three connections from the potentiometer. It's a string potentiometer but I don't think that would make any difference. i tried swapping the wires, but I'm thinking maybe I swapped them the wrong way. I have a ground, variable and 5v. Maybe...
