Re: Condor 2.0? honesty please

So you are suggesting we should have "ignition sequence start" now? When the time comes, it’s more likely to be “Light the blue touchpaper and stand back!”. But I get the idea. Maybe the team are ticking off the last few preparation goals rather than calendar days. Pressing the launch but...

Re: Condor 2.0? honesty please

Probably the BEST thing to do would be to let the Condor Team get on with it without distracting them with the noise of goings-on here. Yes, but is anyone forcing the Condor Team to monitor this thread, instead of getting back to work adding Sidewinders, Hellfires, AMRAAMs and 30mm cannons and Gatl...

Re: Condor 2.0? honesty please

(what I'm looking at is NOT 3600s) Mhhh, I just had a second thought about this... SteveK, what did you see for a TTL value when you checked ? I did ask directly the authoritative DNS servers from condorsoaring.com. Another value may have been reported to you from your ISP DNS. That would mean some...

Re: Condor 2.0? honesty please

Wait... Both records are already set down to 3600 seconds. Interesting ;) 8) 8)  Xavier BUT: Other factors are at play NOT just what you see there..... Nameservers..... and TTL surrounding those. Not normally an issue for a web server move, but it could be so in this case - depending on ...

Re: Release date lottery

The funniest thing about this thread is that it prevents us from announcing the release date . . . Not really. Were you ever to feel minded to preempt the release of the product,a simple post here ahead of that announcement would mark the end of valid uninformed guesses. In fact if the release date...

Wrong! (Unless Uros has a time machine!)
Or maybe they DID release then and just forgot to tell us about it!

Re: Release date lottery

27th January. If you really want a year as well, I’ll say this one (although I’d rather leave that open   ). Only kidding with the jibes of course. I fully agree with keeping things under wraps. There was no other sensible approach. I also understand the reasons for the extended de...

Re: Announcement regarding upcoming changes to website!

? OXO opened his mouth and put his foot right in it. :D [see his assertion the 3rd December post above, and the outcome of the work in the "Important news!!" topic. ] Now we know the real reason why OXO doesn't say much :D (if he has this effect :D ) [Tom/OXO - only kidding - If you were ...

Thanks for the heads up. I'm a bit old now to be getting excited, but I am looking forward to V2.

Re: South East UK Scenery

There's Little Gransden... Not a gliding airfield, but close enough to GRL to impact on operations, and a useful 'get out of jail free' card when they are not throwing Yaks around the sky. Even just the crossed runways would be of use.

Thanks Andy - looking forward to it.
