Re: Return of Beastly Soaring

Released today on CC. But it is 'Sod's Law', I found a texture alignment error East of London. Working on a fix which will appear as a texture patch. I can understand now why the Condor V2 team want to make sure all is OK before release. The patch to fix the small texture error East of London is co...

Re: Return of Beastly Soaring

Sounds like one for Olympia. I have not flown on the dunstable ridge but have on the RAF Halton ridge many times. 15kts on the face would be very soarable. Not sure what the figure would be, probably 2 to 3 kts close in, decreasing with height to zero sink at about 1300ft QFE. Ready to be shot down ...

There is a mix of civil (small and large), military, BGA and General Aviation. Does anybody have any ideas of additional airfields that I may have missed out or t...

Re: Condor 3dem 0xc000142 error

I got Condor 3dem to work. For anyone else all I did was check that:

HKLMSOFTWAREMicrosoftWindows NTCurrentversionWindowsAppInit_DLLs

was set to 0 in the registry.

Re: Condor 3dem 0xc000142 error

Thank you for your reply. I will have a go with QGIS, I have used it before. Ref v2, I have 4 scenery projects on the go at the moment, some may be released, depends how well they turn out. I understand that there may be changes to scenery design with v2. But v2 release may still be some time away a...

Condor 3dem 0xc000142 error

Being an active Condor scenery maker when starting a new scenery area I use the Condor 3dem software. Since running Windows 10 whenever I run Condor 3dem I get an '0xc0000142' error. I have got round this in the past by googling the error number and following the suggested fixes (it is quite a commo...

Re: Easy way to making a photo-realistic Condor scenery

Many thanks for this excellent guide. I am fortunate in having 'Global Mapper' which means once the geotif is obtained it can be loaded straight into Global mapper and converted to UTM. There is then a facility to cut the image from a top left corner reference into 46080 metre squares. 46080 metre s...

Re: GUI based Photorealistic Condor Scenery Tutorial - draft

Wow! fast reply. Thanks Tom, I will try that.

That worked Ok and I now have calibration points data.

One more question;

How do I save the SS so that I can access it with the scenery data again?
