Re: Condor 2.0? honesty please

Hi Guys ! I just pup-up once every few months to seen if C2 is born... seems to get closer (maybe ! ). I stopped using condor years ago because it was unfortunately too far from my paragliding & hanggliding focus. I don't feel the courage now to go again through the tens of pages of fo...

Re: Condor V2

I come on this forums only once every 3-4 months since 6 years just to have a look at the latest perspective for aircraft implementation in Condor... I am ready to BURN and SCATTER my 6-year old Condor-running computer, and buy myself an upper-class upgraded gaming hardware, if v2 is worth-it and ne...

Re: Condor for hang-gliding simulator

Actuelly, it DOES work as it is : not visible on the picture, but there is an infrared LED on the harness, which horizontal position is captured by a webcam on the ceiling. This position is then converted to a virtual joystick input in Condor (thanks to a combinaison of FreeTrack for motion detectio...

Condor for hang-gliding simulator

My hang-gliding cockpit set-up... obviously powered by Condor !! Just hoping for the future: a hangglider as part of one of the planepacks (for proper gliding ratio, with audio vario, compulsary non-rudder gliding) and some XC online competition for this type ;-) http://deltaplaneenfrance.free.fr/pi...

Re: PG and HG

Seems much easier for a HG ;-) ..... x-y axis for the Center of gravity shift of the pilot (flexible wings) a "z" axis for the variable-geometry : can be the throttle... (and you really want to go for rigid wings: you can add a "f" for the landing flaps...) The tricky part is to ...

PG and HG

Please, please, PLEASE !! What about a hang-glider in PP2 ??? That should not be so hard !!?? Take for example a common competition HG like the AEROS Combat: - Pitch & roll control, roll neutrality in turns - possibility for an overdrive (VG) - no yaw-control except the glider aerodynamics (OK, ...

Second is indeed Condor. The first one is MicroFlight 5.0. The forces for steering seems to me quite similar... in real flight, you do shift your weight (can be a bit physical after some time) and it is the increase of wing-load on one side of the hangglider that initiate the turn. Of course, what i...

Simulator "Cockpit"...

Hi all ! Being a hang-glider pilot, my usual flight "cockpit" is very simple... so this is a quick & dirty set-up I just built to enjoy hang-gliding during the bad weather, using Condor along with other glider sims. The immersion feeling is quite good !! http://fr.youtube.com/watch?v=lgCgaLQDru8...

Hi JEP ! I agree it depends a lot on the personnal habit of the pilot , and did not intend to start a"conflict" here by expressing a -strictly- personnal opinion... both paragliding & HG are great tools and I understand that XC pilots on both machines would be happy to have them supported in Con...

newcomer... next

He He ! :D I did think there was going to be some reactions  Just to clarify my point of view, as a paraglider AND hang-glider pilot... YES you CAN do XC in a paraglider, and it is quite nice, and you can cover quite some distance if you are good (and the weather secure)... And quite a few peo...

New pilot....

Hi all ! I am sure this thread is not the best place for a new pilot's introduction... But as I bought Condor mosty because I am a hang-glider pilot during winter season, and I thought I would try to join a bit this lobbying effort ;-) (Note: I do find the software awesome as a glider simulation als...
