Old gliders

Hello everyone, I am a fan of keeping vintage gliders flying and its fantastic to see them all at vintage rallies. For my RL gliding, I am more interested in using the modern technology to fly as far/fast as possible. You can always fly to your own limit in any glider, but that is often limited to m...

I agree, high resolution is always preferable and bitorrent is excellent for distribution.

EDIT: Please ignore this post, I am being lazy here and can use the search function... Sorry for my ignorance about Sceneries, but could it be physically possible to see an entire England, Wales and Scotland scenery within Condor? I presume the map size would be ok as large parts of the Alps have be...

Wonderful, thank you very much for this, I will have to get my XCSoar hooked up with Condor once again! Now it would be nice to have something running directly from Condor, but this is fantastic - thanks for all of your efforts. :D I look forward to testing it out and presume for AAT tasks the setti...

Wow! Crazy stuff for a first outlanding, looks like we are fairly spoint for choice in the UK, a fair few fields around, crops can be limiting depending on time of year, but at least they are large fields. Also plenty of golf courses too! Not that the owners would be too happy over here I suspect......

Hello, now it seems like there is quite a community of Condor users using XCSoar, but how does everyone go about entering the task into the pda? For me it is only worth it if I fly a long task as its the usual manual method of selecting each one individually, and far too long if any NewTPs are used....

I have to say, I somehow feel the magic of classic gliders is slightly lost in Condor. Having flown a T-21 a couple of times, its the aerotow at 65 knots with the wind and rain beating your face and the freezing air chilling you as you thermal an ever colder height! I can just appreciated the effort...

Since I am slightly active on here, it would be nice to visit just one forum to keep up with all the latest gliding talk. Would be a huge boost for Condor if the forums were expanding past the Simulated soaring community too! I would have thought Uros and GR would prefered to keep the forum less clu...

Seems like you fly some interesting tasks and I would like to compete, but I am European based, so don't really worry about my timezone vote ;)

I think this is mostly for US pilots? Correct me if I am wrong.

I flew in the back of the BGA Simulator a little at the BGA Conference a few weeks ago. Looks much better with Condor and the dual projectors work well. A few little improvements and tweaks should be made which I think will happen soon when they have a little more budget for it :) There are not quit...

Wow, really looking great there. I can't believe how fast you progress on projects! Impressive work and a smooth poly mesh. Still, always a long way to go to the final model, but its looking great so far. I am looking forward to this one in Condor, shame we don't have engines at the moment though, b...
