Re: Condor 2.0? honesty please

Hi Mark, Please have a look at both these threads, using dgvoodoo dx11 wrapper does allow to fly in condor with higher resolution/multiple monitors: http://forum.condorsoaring.com/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=17192 http://forum.condorsoaring.com/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=16821&p=149688#p149688 Cheers...

Re: Multi Monitor Support

http://forum.condorsoaring.com/search.php?keywords=Duke+Nukem So, DNF had been brought up twice in the past 5 years. Your point is what, exactly? You are only annoying people. Go find another hobby. I think you're the only one annoyed, and frankly, annoying in this thread. For sure you're the only ...

Re: Multi Monitor Support

I have been thinking about the closer - wrap-around screen setup with trackir and stretched periphery a little more. This could only work if one would keep eyes looking straight ahead. Unfortunately we scan with our eyes, and the periphery gets projected straight into our eyes when looking at the si...

Re: Multi Monitor Support

Although Jan's last example is quite extreme, one thing has not been discussed here. Human vision has distorted peripheral vision as well. Our brain however learns to interpret what it 'sees' as normal. A wide, strongly curved screen, or a triple angled to wrap-around screen setup, used together wit...

Re: What's your screen width?

Even if 1920x1080 is the most widely used screen, we should not forget 2 things: Condor 2 will have to last 10 odd years, by that time 1920p is well below standard. Condor is a simulator as much as - or more than - a game. Immersion and life-like appearance is important; this requires resolution.

Re: Use condor during winter to train for summer?

Use track iR or Opentrack or similar with a NIR set of LED's and a NIR optimised camera; this makes you look around as in RL.

This is just an example: goo.gl/UVeZTx

I dont want to miss this setup anymore.

Re: What's your screen width?

As can be read elsewhere, I currently use a dgvoodoo wrapper to run condor on my 34" 3440x1440 at full resolution. Awesome ;) My brother ran a 3 screen setup with dgvoodoo at full resolution: 1920+2560+1920. At latter setup, a fundamental flaw of this dgvoodoo workaround solution with condor v1...
