Re: timing questions on flying with ghosts

What you could do is, convert the ghost's .ftr to an .igc file and open that with Notepad.exe or something. .igc files are human readable. Scroll down to the first "B" record, which contains the timestamp as the first 6 digits, for an approximation. A "B" record is recorded every...

Re: Yet another question about Soaring Pilot, Condor and BT

Tasks and waypoints are not transfered to an external PDA by Condor in its present version. Depending on the navigation software used on the PDA, there are some very clever utilities made by forum members here to convert .fpl files to compatible PDA formats. Unfortunately, not for Mobile SeeYou (yet...

Cookie wrote: Any clues where I find this passkey??

You can make up the passkey yourself, as long as it's the same on both the PC and PDA.
Try '0000' on the PDA (without the quotes) if you didn't setup anything yet on the PC.

Re: [AC2011] Competition Days

Nice race, in this beautifully enhanced scenery. I was going well until after the Lecse TP, where I arrived a bit low. Scraping along a green hill, I hit a tree that shouldn't be there. :? I had a look at my Condor settings, and to my surprise "Tree density" was at "normal" inste...

Re: XP challenge level 15 : extreme winch

...refly, refly ... ... and it gets tougher and tougher further on in the series. But take my word for it, once you have learned to control your glider on each of these challenges, in the end you can call yourself a real Expert. (XP). Some of these tasks may seem ridiculously difficult or even impo...

Re: Gold challenge at Condor-Club needs v1?

Hi, If this is the task from Condor Club, it should be compatible with EAlps 2.0: http://www.condor-club.eu/showtask/0/?id=673 Be aware of the note in the task header though, that due to the V1 to V2 conversion and re-calibration, the task's length is now reduced to 182 Km. Not good for gold anymore...

Thanks, Simicro, for refreshing my memory. ;)

I think that statement from early 2005 says it all.

Re: Autopilot v1.0. New Year gift for lazy pilots ;)

I vagely seem to remember that Artificial Intelligence Pilots/Planes were present in the very first, or pre-release, of Condor. However, it was decided to not incorporate them in the public Releases, simply because they were superior to any human competitor. Can any of the day-1 group of pilots refr...

Re: is it true...

Cheating techniques are developed by orders of magnitude faster then Condor... I agree with Tima. These "tools" and techniques have their origin even long before PC's existed. Even on Mainframe computers 40 years ago there were programmer's debugging tools that could trace changes in memo...

Re: is it true...

I have long suspected that there must be such a tool... Actually, there's nothing new. Ever since mankind came into existence (and maybe even before that... :? ) there is a small percentage of the population that likes to cheat, steal or rob, as a life stile or even to make a living out of it. This...

Re: Setting up a one-to-one connection

How do you proceed with a modem? ( only ) A "Cable modem" usually has only 1 ethernet connector. You can only connect 1 host (PC) to the modem. The PC receives its dynamic IP address from the ISP's DHCP pool. Effectively, the PC becomes part of this ISP's network. For a large number of cu...

Re: Setting up a one-to-one connection

Internet over ADSL(2+) is usually supplied with a "box" that combines three or even four totally different functions: - a modem to pick up the line signal - a router, to separate the public Internet address space from your local LAN - an ethernet switch to distribute connections to wired l...
