With DX11 you can drive that monitor... depending on your GPU and cables used. The more pixels you use, the faster your GPU must be.

We suggest a dedicated GPU with 1gb and a i5 or i7 is ok.

The GPU should have benchmark (http://www.videocardbenchmark.net) result of 1000 minimum. 4000 is very good, and 8000 perfect. As always more is better :)

An onboard GPU is usable, but with severely reduced graphics settings.

The 8 year old system still has life in it yet then. I've an old i7 930 (@4.2) and a GTX780 (which is 7970 on those charts) so now I don't have a reason to build a new system......dammit

Genuine question. I am wanting to purchase a new monitor in the near future, focused mainly towards simming. I am looking at a screen with a resolution of 3440x1440 (ultra widescreen). Will Condor 2 be able to take advantage of this resolution? Little point me going ahead with the purchase otherwise. The new monitor may end up being the reason I need to build a new system  I can't be bothered with multi screen setups at home and think this style of monitor the best compromise.

My old machine is an i7-930 also (though at stock speeds - 2.8GHz), but with a GTX-660. I ran across a few sceneries it wouldn't run faster than 1 FPS (some HD ones). So I upgraded a few months ago figuring it would be better to run Condor 2 on than the old machine, and I wanted to run those HD sceneries. It also has a weird problem of 100% disk usage for the first 10 minutes after it's been booted. I got tired of that even more than the 1 fps as it was a constant niggle.

So I'm even more pumped up for Condor 2 since my "new" GPU is rated around 12,000 (GTX-1080) and a 7th-gen I7.

Interesting comparison

Shows why the GTX1070TI exists :)

I guess that i don't have any chance with my geforce 310M
So its fine for me, you can delay the release as much as you want OXO

i7 4770K @4,6ghz, 16gb @3200 CL 10, 2x 1080 TI SLI, 240hz 27" screen, Hardware Raid 10 (1gb cache, 4x Intel 480gb SSD).

The benefits of beeing an active Arma3 player: The hardware will just chill at other games. :?

Hi Guys !
I just pup-up once every few months to seen if C2 is born... seems to get closer (maybe ! ).

I stopped using condor years ago because it was unfortunately too far from my paragliding & hanggliding focus.
I don't feel the courage now to go again through the tens of pages of forum speculating about the content of C2... but is there a chance paragliding/hanggliding could be covered by the release ?

Hope the best !

Something must have been up with your OS install, other software or drivers. With my setup I can run all of the HD scenery in Condor just fine. I don't even have Condor installed on either of my SSD drives either, it is installed on a 7200rpm SATA drive. A new system is a guaranteed way to solve the problem though
Bronze by Spring......I hope!

Happy St. Nicholas (Sinterklass, Santa Claus, Sankt Nikolaus, Święty Mikołaj) Day to all! If you've been good, you may get another screenshot of Condor 2 for a present. Maybe?

Ouch, that felt like a there's a lump of coal in our future. Well, at least my new graphics card and 12MB more RAM is on the way. :D
