Hmm, me too, sadly i did not bother to backup the old textures first - that's the danger of running an Exe file when you don't know the structure of the folders in the game. Does anyone have the original textures they can upload to reinstall them?

I do not know what is changed, but at folder condor/World is a folder "clouds". I expect, that clouds textures are here. you can download this original folder from my post above and replace your actual textures. i believe it will restore original clouds

Hi A. Mattano,

First of all, thanks for all the work you have done with the clouds in Condor! Nice looking clouds is important in Condor.

When that said, I think the clouds already in condor are very nice. Except from being small, they "feel" very real like.
Your clouds seems to me like they are made from pictures. They dont look as good from below as the original(I think). The color of the cloud is a little different from what I am used to. There also seemed to be some glitches with misplaced cloud parts.

I have to admit that I have not tried the clouds more than one or two times. So the reason that I uninstalled your clouds, was that I wanted to test them more before I use them in competition. It is likely that I once again will try the clouds later on.

Good luck with further developments!

I enjoyed your work, good progress, but I uninstalled them for 3 reasons:
1. There seemed suddenly much more volume of clouds in the sky
2. The cloud bottoms were a little too dark and flat
3. The cloud bottoms appeared to have a texture of linear ridges in them which I felt looked unrealistic.
Keep up the good work, I look forward to you refining these textures.

My comments for these 3 reasons ;)

Yes, it is. Volume but not number ;). And it doesn't affect clouds lifts.

This is what i like most of all in the Alan's clouds. Cloud with strong lift always has dark and flat bottom. I've found that with these new clouds i'm able to estimate lift better then with original ones.

That's right. And these textures sometimes create artefacts near the bottom of the cloud. But imho this is solvable minor issue.
