Because of the high demand on servers and shortage on bandwith we were not able to host a TS server on the first two flights.
But that has changed.

New Lowlands Server is available for you

connect to tsu2.tsutrecht.nl:8760
use your callsign as nickname
anonymous login
Select the subchannel of the server you connected (or will connect) to.

You can also create your own channel which will be available as long as somebody is in it.

More info on TeamSpeak can be found on lowlands.sytes.net and www.goteamspeak.com

I was wondering if you run Condor in widows mode when running teamspeak?

Yep, Teamspeak works in windowed mode.

During competitions I'll make use of my teamspeak server. Details to follow for the next race on sunday, which I can't attended due to work, nor on the thursday after :(

Could there be a catch-up saturday morning race for those who can't attend?

Hi,

let me make one thing clear first:
I don't want to start a flame war.
All I want is to get trough to a certain ****.
But as the only thing he could do was talk bad words about me and making fun out of me with his buddy...
Ich bin nicht Krank, Ich versteh' Deutsch sehr gut, du %&#$!
I asked you many times if you would mind to change your callsign,
you kept on ignoring me...
When I tried to join Teamspeak my patience was gone!
I couldn't join because someone had to use my callsign.
It may not be my rights in condor, but it are my rights at Lowlands!
So stick with your buddy in your own games,
but don't bother me anymore with your childish behaviour.
After I muted you I was happy to hear you were kicked.

I know you had some problems with Lowlands earlier by cheating about your results...
Maybe it's an Idea to ban him from the TS server so we don't have to listen to his voice anymore..

Kind regards,

Tim Kuijpers, callsign: NX, reg nr: PH-977

p.s. This post should be interpret by knowing that I had a lonesome flight, and being enoyed by this ***..

I think it was on day8 when myself, MY and DE was on TS together and we would have people (non-flying) that joined and "spammed" us with loud music and childish behaviour.

We have resorted to password protect the Team Norway channel when we fly together.

Could it have been day 7, someone broadcasting "music" and going from one channel to another ? If so, I banned that person from TS. In the future, if somehing similar happens, do not hesitate to switch channels and ask me, SL or any other person with a 'a'(dmin) flag on TS so we can take appropriate measures. You might even consider a keybinding in TS to send a "whisper" to me or SL. Whispers can be sent accross channels

Its sad, but unavoidable, as the condor (/llc) community grows, so does the chances of having such childish behaviour...

Hi Bob.

It could have been day7, I'm not sure but its not that important either. We started to simply mute those offenders but sometimes in Condor you dont want to hit P, windows key, command Mute etc while flying so we chose the simple solution to password protect "our" channel.

As you say its sad and also impossible to control directly.

It used to work perfectly for many months and then without any change from my side (well I think so) I've got the following error window while tempting to connect :

Socket Error # 1104

I still can perfectly connect to many other TS Servers though ... !

Anyone has got an idea ? :?:
