I'm referring to a comment placed by JJJ in the debriefing topic.
I looked at it, and found a mistake in the scoring system, or maybe I'm overlooking something ofcourse..
Here's the thing:
JJJ and SEI had the same start point:

Nearly the same 1st turnpoint, JJJ has a slight advantage here..

Than the last sector they turn at the same place:

Now CC scoring came up with a difference of 3.13 km, while in fact the difference is -0.9km.
So I believe something in the scoring script, which we cannot read anywhere, (or did I miss something?) is wrong.
For instance I see that the start sector is treated like a sector too, while in most RL competitions it is treated like a start point.
Meaning the distance in RL is calculated from the start's coordinates, nomatter where you leave the sector.
Here, and I think that's where the problem is, the distance is calculated from the point where you leave the sector. (this is also not correct in an AAT, because you need a start time, and a certain point.. this can only be working with a line, not with 180 degree circle)
When you look at the start picture, you see that SEI left the sector in the north side, after which he restarted by crossing the line later.
CC scoring treats it like an AAT sector, and calculates from the northern point, while it uses a start time from the moment he left the sector.
In this case he gets 4km scored before he got the start time

His start point is above start altitude, and before his clock started ticking.. good bonus
I think the problem can be solved easiest when you tell the system that the start sector is treated like a normal start, and so for the finish.
