Hi!

Please help me!
I would like to put on ground texture with AptCndr tool, but not managed. Always I received a white squere.
The airport lies on 4 tiles :D.
The scenery is low resolution (2048x2048 based on Landsat8 pictures)
What is the correct methode.
Thanks :
Janos

HI,
Is the generated file "TextureSoL.dds " white or you see a white square when flying in Condor? (Missing texture or bad path)
Should be in "Landscapes/your scenery/World/Textures/TextureSol.dds" You have to change this name in "TextureSolyourairport" since it's each time the same name and of course to change also the path in YourairportG.cx

happy that it worked again for you. :)
just to remind, here is a complete tutorial about these TextureSOL...:

Good luck with this , not so easy to get these TextureSOL perfectly aligned with normal textures...

Again here!

It managed the "Ground texture", but I have problem with direction...
When I start from air, the start direction not same than on ground texture. :( The difference near 90 degree)
On the picture is the flight direction is good (235 or 55)

I don't understand what you mean !! TextureSol.dds not same direction than other textures ? what do you mean with start from air direction not same as ground start direction ? is that not usual , air start is all time facing the wind ! ground start can have side wind but the runway don't change...
Can you post some screenshots of the the problem?

Ensure that you have placed at least one object with AptCndrX or the texture sol will move all over the place - mine took flight and flew along with me

Hoorah! - It does give amazing detail, best for flat sceneries - not so good for hilly places. You may wish to read my Thread "Flying Invisible runways" for more info. Texture sol has some peculiar characteristics.

Dear Greg!

Yes, I read your Flying Invisible runways topic.

In my first scenery I applyed invisible runways (Hungary 1.0 scenery) and also applayed in Himalaya, and Chile....
I resized the Condor tile in working/textures directory example (t4362) 512 > 1024 or 2048 > 4096 and in Photoshop I added my high resolution airport.
This methode is working in case not only flat area.... :D

I have a really problem with APTCndr tool....
When I make Parking_Taxiway and I would like to add Ground texture not possibile..... or I add Ground Texture and after I add Parking_Taxiway ... not managed. Both case I receive error message :( .... but no probleme because I apply INVISIBLE runway... (1.9m/pixel) :D

Hi All!

I am again here.... I changed my OS in my PC, Win7 to Win10. Condor working very well....

AptCndr tool working fine, but I can not add texture dds.
In "Airport" libraty the LHKU G.cx file is ok ( "Landscapes/HUNGARY_2/World/Textures/TextureSol.dds"; } ), but in ...... world/textures library not is the TextureSol.dds.

Janos I dont know what may cause this. Is Condor in its own directory? (ie: C/Condor... NOT C/programme files/condor)

Try to run the 'create files' in Apt CndrX again and see if it writes the file. AptCndrX is working fine on my my OS Windows10 so its not the OS causing this problem. You may have to start again with that airport :( - I have had a bit of trouble when altering the 'Project parameters' - some settings you can change others dont work.

After trying Texture Sol once I now just avoid it as its too much work!!!

 If you have written the files again without your texture sol available in the AptCndr>resources folder it wont have a file to write to the world/textures folder so will just write a blank - probably removing your original file. Make sure the texture sol image is available in the resources folder then write the files again for that airport - that should solve the problem. :!:

Hope you can solve the issue - always keep spare files of your images! Also it helps to put all the airport textures in a sub-folder inside the main airports folder. That way Apt Cndr does not write over your textures all the time (although you will need to edit the .cx to the correct address).

Dear Greg!

Tanks......

It managed....
Image Tool.exe not worked because d3dx9_34.dll was injured, and the PC not generated error message.

My Condor is on my E driver.... In C driver I changed the OS to Win10.
APTCNDR is also in E driver I could worked very well in Win7.
I would like to finish my new Hungary_2 scenery.
