Dear all!

Chile scenery is ready!
Shortly I going to upload.
Flying area of 450km x 600km (28x19 tiles)!
The scenery is low resolution photo scenery, based on ETM satelit images.
The scenery contains an airports manual in "USER INFORMATION" directory for successful take-off!
Thermal map depend on textures. The northern side of ridges has stronger thermals, because Chile is on the southern hemisphere.
Use strong PC configuration!
The scenery is very large, the area is more twice than ALPY XL. The zipped file is 1,6GB!

Can't wait for this one :D

Slow work takes a long time. :D
Hungary_2 (Flatland) are also ready, but the imagery cloudy.
Namibia (Bitterwasser) is also done but the pictures quality I had problems ... and summer time have (must) :D to fly.

Good Job!! I like it a lot, this OXYGEN map!!!!!!!!
I was thinking to make this Andes scenery more long and thin so i'm very happy with yours because i do not need to finish mine.
The only critic is that in Argentina side (most of this territory (thanks)) the wind is close to 200kmh at 9000m  and Condor only 50knot max limitation.
But is possible to add more extreme and real condition wind in the file, manually  :) . Remember that if is too hi or you are too close to the mountains, software will crush.

This is the most close scenery for real gliding world records.
the pictures clouds and lenticular i have made for condor are taken in this regions. And the cloud you are yousing in this screeshoots are very nice too because they are white.
I'will test the wave ride! OXYGEN ON!
Thanks a lot from Argentina!
Alan

Hi Janos,
(my PM is working)
is there only one link for downloading the scenery?

If yes, place make a page with the scenery in it.

Else I have free space and fast direct download link. Unlimited space & fast!
If you need i can make a page were we all download the sceneries without email asking to the pilot, etc, fast clean and a direct donations to you. In that case you put the conditions all you need, just ask. If you need it just let me know,
.( i can read PM)

Now after several day try i'm downloading the first part from condor club, (slow but free)
Kindly Alan

Hello Sir!

First of all, what an amazing scenery!! I love seeing stuff from this community of my home country. I only have one thing to ask. Is it possible to add my home glider club? Its is from the "Club de Planeadores de Valparaiso, Olmue" and it is located a few miles west of Santiago. ICAO is SCOM, and it is a dirt field surrounded by the small town of Olmue and amazing mountains.

Thanks in advance!

Dave

Thats it!

Thank you very much. If you look to the right of the photograph you can see our strip. Funny thing is the google guys took a picture of have the runway when it was winter (green half) and the other half in summer (brown).

Our club, together with Santiago, is of the two most active gliding clubs in Chile. We currently have the only flying Bergfalke II/55 in Chile and another one in the hangar waiting for restoration. We also have two Pilatus B-4's, a Standard Cirrus Glider and a DG-200 being imported from Germany.

Exciting Stuff

Dave
