3D objects for Condor Sceneries with GIMP,Blender or Sketchup

Postby D-5590 » Wed Aug 24, 2016 9:48 pm

Hi all,

to create buildings for FlightGear the scenerie maintainer use GIMP or Blender.
With a plugin converted the building to the format AC3D file (objectname.ac).

Do you know whether these 3D programs (plugin) receive the support convert ??

I want to build some hangars and airfield buildings and sceneries in installing
(for example : Pohlheim Viehheide) in West_Germany2 scenery.
Unfortunately all aerodromes have an inflexible contiguous building collection.
This has already been suppressed by the FlightGear developers.

Who can offer me some airfield buildings? Where are such buildings available for download?

The last Condor Scenery Toolkit v1.0.1 installed on my computer.

Thanks for responce,

Hi,

Now I got me an selfi reply. I build an small Hangar with Wings 3D and I want to convert my
work. After using the Condor Object Converter I got following Windows ERROR.

Microsoft 3D format conversion utility CONV3DS.exe not installed...

I read the CST Documentation and found the link for download. Nevermint, no help, no download.

Search at Microsoft.com was no solution to the problem, also no download for the conv3ds.exe.

How deal the developers of scenery without this Search at Microsoft.com was no solution to the problem, also no download for the conv3ds.exe.

Wonder deal at this point as developers of scenery without CONV3DS.exe?
Is the CST an old tool?
