Thanks Chris will check out those tools. Gliders came out very well. Bit of a fiddle UV mapping the mirrored fuselage, had to select faces by hand to get two side views of the fuselage or the text gets mirrored but managed it. I found it a bit easier to not create a hole in the fuselage but use the canopy surfaces as the interior. Just moved the faces down and scaled vertices to fit. This made selecting faces for mapping easier than a hollow shell. The extract function works well to make the canopy after mirroring the fuselage half.
Thanks for the input and help. One of the gliders below. Will put files for an earlier glider up in the freeby objects thread later. All in the spirit of free community and all that.
