Ah, the dear old Ka2. I did my first aerotows in one of those, and later on (much later) found myself teaching aerotows in the very same glider at a different club. Your model is not bad for a first crack at it. Keep going - if you can get that sort of result in a couple of days there's no knowing how good your later work will be. I'm very optimistic.

Mr Ike,

I didn't say that the ACES guys 'would' set up a competitive sim to Condor, but the Condor team are taking a chance if they do not protect their investment by moving up a gear now. You may be right to guess that the ACES guys will move to X plane etc but what if they don't? In the current climate these other teams may not be in recruiting mode, there is a recession going on right now in case you haven't noticed. If they can't get new jobs they could well stick together and do a new sim. And it can't be all that expensive to do this, otherwise how did GR and Uros fund their sim? If I was running this sim I'd be VERY afraid.

I've got good drawings of the Olympia series. The 463 in particular. also cockpit pictures etc. I'd need to send hard copy. pm me if that's any help.

Making progress. Thought I'd cut my teeth on a DG.

I'll need to see what the Olympia 463 looks like.

Hi Edge.

To get shadows in Wings 3D you need to render your model. Looks like really nice work!

I really need the plans JPG format.
Alternatively they need to be scanned in.

I think there are restrictions about planes in Condor.
Only Plane pack aircraft are allowed so looks like you might
have a long wait..

I'd be happy to have a go at the model at some point though..
