I'm from prom 2002. Do you know if there are other cadets flying Condor? Perhaps we (the cadets) could fly together sometime.
I'll start a thread to ask.
I'm also willing to help making the planes of BAC, but after the exams, DG300 will be the first one.

btw, do I know you?

Jan

Does anybody know the SB-13? It is a flying 15m wing with high performance (glide ratio: 42). But only a few were built. I love it since I have been a small boy...
It was built by the Akademische Fliegergruppe Braunschweig: http://www.akaflieg-braunschweig.de/prototypen/sb13/

I have a very stupid question... how can it fly without a rudder and an elevator? Is it a kind of rigid-paraglider maybe? :?:

how can the B-2 fly? :P I'm not into this plane, but I'm pretty sure you'll find the rudder at the winglets. The elevator is probably "elevon": combined elevator and aileron. May the experts correct me if I'm wrong

Well, if they produce it, it might be worth the effort and I am sure I am missing something.

As a non-expert - however - I would say that it doesn't sound the most intuitive way of using forces: elevon are rather close to the axis of rotation (=less leverage =more force =more drag).

More or less the same apply to the rudder in the winglets...

I am curious... what is the advantage of these kind of planes?
