The FPL is slightly tagged.
Why would you change the password???
Cheers,
Thierry
Thanks for the advice Thierry,
To clarify:
Say the task I create and upload to CC is named "mytask.fpl".
When I normally upload a task to CC, then re-download the task from CC for server use,
CC would rename it to "mytask_CC.fpl", however, the .fpl files that CC attached to my competition
advisory email returned as "mytask.fpl", and NOT as "mytask_CC.fpl". This seemed strange.
Are you saying to use the attached files from CC in the advisory email because they are somehow tagged,
even though the filenames appear unchanged?
I ask this because I am almost sure that we trialled those .fpl files received from CC and there was a DSH error
message like "Not a Condor Club task, results will not be sent".
I need to get this right because there are no results coming through as yet, unless CC does not
log results for the training days....

As for the server passwords, it's not that I wanted to change a server password, it was just that
I did not realise you could not change from a passworded comp to a non passworded comp.
We were unsure of the format we wanted to use for this comp at the time, and we incorrectly
assumed it could be changed later. Same goes for the timeslot option, it's not apparent in the
comp builder that these options cannot be later edited. I think that's the cause of the confusion,
some options can be changed and some cannot, but I know now!

Other questions now.....
1. A registered pilot chooses slot (0) but they miss their race. Is it possible to personally give
them the password to the following timeslot (6), (12), etc. so they can compete in the next slot, or
are the results hardcoded to their pilot registration in slot (0) ?
2. If I wish to run a task 24/7 or possibly multiple tasks through the week, say 4 or 5 tasks for
example for 24 hours each, in a Condor Club Competition, is this possible?
In a post above, you stated that CC manages 24/7 comps, but I'm not sure how this would be done?
Perhaps there is a tutorial I need to read?
3. If I choose to run an "Offline" CC competition, do online results get counted as well? Perhaps
this would better suit my intentions?
Thank you again for your quick reply and help Thierry, much appreciated.
