PostFrontal introduces the new scenery West Alpi for Condor by Bluangel56 and a brand new race created to fully enjoy the spectacular features and size of it: the WEST ALPI CUP. The race uses the "open server" approach (you fly the tasks on-line whenever you want) already used with success for our Alpi 3 and Central Italy free Racing Servers. The competition will feature 5 different tasks to race and challenge the Mont Blanc's beautiful surroundings.
The first three pilots in the final ranking will win some beautiful Full Ballast techcnical clothing!

West Alpi covers a 96 thousands sq. Km area, with 307 x 312 Km sides. Thanks to a new algorithm developed by Bluangel56, West Alpi offers better details without affecting the FPS performance. 31 airports are included in the scenery, including the french gliding capitals: Saint Auban, St. Crépin, Fayence, Sisteron, Gap...

Only the WEST ALPI CUP competitors will have the chanche to buy and download the new scenery in advance! The official release of West Alpi will be on October 1st, the day after the end of the race.

The scenery and the subscription to the race can be bought HERE.
The competition can be joined HERE.

HAVE FUN! :D

Dear Sm4llie, I think you could get a much better view in the distance and overall resolution if you raise the anisotropic filtering of your video board:

Thank you very much by the way!

Results after DAY 3

Congratulations to all the pilots for tonight's great races!!! With four tasks flown, Simon Berx from Belgium takes the lead, but Tomasz Siejek from Poland and Christoph Heidemeyer from Germany, in 2nd and 3rd place, flown just three tasks so the race for the first three places is still 100% open!

Finally, thumbs up for Bernard Brun from France, in fourth place, first pilot to fly all the tasks!
The new feature added in the overall results (last column) shows the tasks flown by each pilot to better understand the scores.

Two pilots already finished Task 5, showing that nothing is impossible :D

Challanging tasks, awesome scenery and vibrant and active competition. This WAC has all the ingredients of success. With all the crap on the forum just recently, this is a breath of fresh air. This is the way "Condor" should be moving. Forwards.

Thank you Postfrontal team.

Results after DAY 4

With all the five tasks flown, Simon Berx from Belgium is the new leader after tonight's races, followed by Christoph Heidemeyer from Germany, with only four tasks flown and 649 points in Task 5 needed to take the lead. "Ace Pilot" (Achim Holzmann) from Germany goes up two rows and gets in 3rd place with 2610 points and just three tasks flown!
Congratulations to Roberto Ferretto from Italy, flying the best performance in Task 5 up to now: 141.1 KM/h average!

My personal "tactical suggestion" is to fly all the tasks not more than two times and wait the last few competition days to try a final rush on all the tasks. Remember: new players con join the race until Sept. 25th, so a lot of surprises are possible!

OVERALL RESULTS AFTER DAY 4

Next results on monday morning at "coffee time", after the weekend's races!

GOOD LUCK TO ALL THE BRAVES! :D

Hi Tellurico.
Might just be me but the scoring page is going a bit weird, Task5 scores are repeated?
Cheers BAZ.

Can you send me a screenshot please (info@postfrontal.com) so I can try to understand what's wrong?

Seem's to have cleared now, Using Firefox The headers for each task were inserted below the results and results from Task5 were on the page twice. Cleared the cache and it was the same but now seems ok. :D
