C´mon guys..........
We all have enough problems to argue all around the world, don´t make Condor one of them too....
As the first word in the title of this post says, this competition is Virtual, so we must adapt real rules to virtual ones..... On the other hand, the good news thanks to being virtual is that all of us can compete !!!!
So, why don´t we re-think this few points that we don´t agree, and have a real world competition ????
A big effort has been made by Eddie and his team since long time..... please do not retire..... we CAN make it work if we wish.

I don't want to criticize the great work of the Organizers, but I only have one notice...

I really wanted to be at least one day in real WGC in Prievidza, but also I want to win these great Competition

So I hope that someone collides with me in the 1 ... 2 tasks and I could leave rest tasks and go to Prievidza
(from Kraków it takes about 6h drive one-way)

Regards
Andrzej

Very sad!

Penalities for mid-air colision recovery, in a game with players from all over the world, where even weather affects the connections AND losing 200 points for recovering of a 100 meters warp-colision is just... uhhh
I cant figure out what goes inside someone´s head who cant understand it. :( A single screenshot in some systems can produce a lag dangerously enouth to be fatal.

How can one think that by adding such a penality will make the game more "real"??? Huh????? Come on, how many mid-air colisions happened last real world competition? And how many mid-air happened in a SINGLE day of the last biggest virtual competition?

The lag explains the monstruous difference. That means: make it more real by allowing mid-air recovery with NO penality points. The bit of energy you lose while recovering is enouth of a penality. :!:

And not to talk about the limited view system of most people and also, try to dont forget the "real life" factor, where i had friends racing against me while feeding their baby or even doing bussiness on phone while circling... and performing greatly.

Please dont make rules for who doesnt have real life. Think about time zones. Its a world competition, is not it?????? Internet??? Hello????

Should I be able to log into the contest teamspeak channel now? I'm using aswask13 as the password but can't connect.

Also, I left a message accidentally in the wrong topic. I would like to request that the latest time slot be moved back even later, say from 19:30 to 20:30 or even later.

Thanks,

Kor

Password is ASK13 for Teamspeak.

Fransois very nice pics. We have to meet and have some beer together. You can identified me very easily. Guy in Red and white T shirt with Virtual WGC sign on it or just ask for Eduard.

Sorry, I'm not in Slowakia at this moment. My brother is in Slowakia at the airfield. His callsign is SEI. Normally I'm crewing my brother, but this time my father is his crew :-)
I will fly the virtual race in Holland.

74 is the one who is making the pictures. Y1 is a discus 2 from the standard class. It's Steven Raimond former european champion 15m in 2005

Don't waste your time chaps - if you can't fly just one single day, you're without any chances - every single race is counting. The reason? I quote FlyingEddieOM: "I want to show ppl how hard for time is to fly real competitions."

I thought the competition would be fair - it definately won't. A small handful of people might have the opportunity to fly all days - one of those will win.
