and they have bought the cable like that one frome K6 :!:

I think you are missunderstanding. I'm talking about the PDA itself. I found lots of good tips on this on the webpage yesterday though.
If I mount the print behind the panel, I will probably need very long whires to the battery(unless I can fit a battery n.2 between the pedals or something.
I don't quite understand what that "sigarette lighter" cable is for? :? When I'm done with the print, I pretty much get all I need trough the COM port right? And on the other side of the card I'll have whires to my battery and the flarm GPS. On the end of the GPS whires, I'll put an NMEA plug?

The ASW15 is not a club plane. It's privately owned. I'm going to rent this glider for the whole next season. So, the installation will be for one year and then I'll remove it if neccesary. I think that will be worth the work. :) It's better than flipping the papermap trough one season..

Best Regards
Kristoffer

*Edit#2: 've just read back...

It makes 5v 1A form 12/24V, a voltage regulator with protection.

But the circuit card(print) does the same thing no? It contains a DC voltage generator. 12v in and 5v steady output. All I need is 1 1A fuse in addition.
The cuircitcard will require one cable - COM. By using the "cigarette charger", I will stilll need a connection to get the gps. :?
To refrase my question to avoid any mistakes/missunderstandings: Do I need the "Cigarette charger" if I make myself that circuitcard(print)?

No, its just an other way to make it. From a separeted battery(12/24V) with a car charger cable you can give the 5 volt into the serial connector at the pda side of the data cable.

Ah
I understand.
I like the circuitcard. :D It's what I do at my school these days so it suits me well.
