Organizers had a meeting yesterday to review all aspects of the competition.

Decisions:

A pilot with a total of 8 (currently 5) crashes is automatically disqualified. Once disqualified he:
- cannot upload ftr anymore and will be listed with zero points in the overall results
- does not receive the briefing anymore
- can continue to fly in the competition asking a friend to provide him the password. However he must leave priority to other competitors during the races

No claim by PM or email. A pilot must file a claim in the appropriate topic, 48h maximum after the start of the race. After that period the topic will be locked and the organizers will announce their decision before the next race.

The rules will be updated soon to reflect those changes.

Starting from Race #12 there will be no more handicap for the scoring.

We noticed indeed some relevant suggestions and remarks and with the help of Thierry (BOD1) it is now possible for the tasksetter to choose whether there is a handicap or not. And as all SBC2010 races are one class only at a time, we decided to apply this new rule from now on. Although it is not possible to change the scoring of the past races, we consider that it is more fair to apply the rule only for the next races.

That decision aims at satisfying the expectations of motivated and enthusiastic competitors who enjoy participating to this nice adventure.

Hello,

If the patch 1.3 is released today or tomorrow, it's not sure we'll be able to update Condor, servers, CC, before tomorrow race.
So, please, wait before install it.
Perhaps the race should be removed and/or replaced by a training day for tests.

IMPORTANT NOTAM :

NOTA BENE : Due to "the saving time change" of this Week-End in West-Europe,
from the race SBC2010-Day21 (this Sunday March the 28th) to the end of the competition (Day26),
the Condor Servers will be launched at 18H30UTC instead of 19H30UTC like before !

In other words, for most of the western Europe Countries, it does not change anything, the race keeps taking place à 20H30 (Paris Time) !

But for the countries that do not change time this Week-End, the event is now seen as taking place one hour before so at 18H30UTC !

Please feel free to communicate that new schedule to all your Condor friends ...

It's only the time reference which is changing differently for some participants to the others ...
