Hi,

Looking at different online competition results, I suddenly wondered what planes are most popular in RL contests. So I had a look at the WC 2010 results and checked how popular our Condor planes are.

Standard (46 pilots)
- ASW28: 2
- Discus2: 26
- LS8: 16
- other: 2
Winner flew Discus2

15m (49 pilots)
- ASW27: 11
- LS6: 0
- Ventus2: 26
- other: 12 (7x ASG29)
Winner flew Diana2 - first Condor plane is a Ventus at 5th position

18m (51 pilots)
- ASG29: 13
- LS10: 1
- Ventus2: 27
- other: 10
Winner flew ASG29

Open (43 pilots)
- ASW22: 11
- Nimbus4: 18
- Jantar: 0
- other: 14
Winner flew EB29 - Nimbus4 in second place

Cheers,
Benny

Looks like it's Schempp-Hirth's lucky day here! (at least for glider model popularity)

And the Discus 2 and Ventus 2 are all 'a' variants, having a small fuselage where nobody (read: I ) fits in.

Yeah, we should have 2 classes - one for midgets that fit into A fuselages and the other for the rest of the population

As once said to me by a Dutch competition pilot (With a Ventus 2a): "Fitting in an A is a choice"

You're right. Without an instrument panel I would fit.

Tim, maybe when you are somewhat older, you have shrunk and you'll will fit...
You'll also probably have some more cash by then... ;)

Solution, remove the stick and place it as a side-stick.. ;)

Are you saying there is some part of Tim's body which obstructs the stick?
