If you did not receive the briefing email for any reason, here is how to recover the password.

The password is displayed 45 minutes before the servers open.

Important notice: to see the password, you need to be:
1) Registered to Condor Club
2) Registered to the SkyBattle 2012 competition
3) Logged-in to Condor Club

By clicking on the "SBC2012 -Day XXX" link you get the briefing too.

If you don't receive briefing and password email:

1) Check you spam box

2) Allow email from Condor Club in your spam software if you have one

Hi everyone

This has probably been asked before but I have not seen anything in the forum that would help.

Often I would be unable to start a flight/task before 2000 UTC but would be able to after say 2100 UTC - no doubt this might also apply to some others especially with over 600 competitors from around the globe in SBC 2012.

Is there a way of entering a server between 1930 and 2000 UTC when the join time is running and parking on the airfield, preferably on line, without upsetting the server or other contestants or even offline and still being able to launch and then start prior to the start line closing?

Any help and advice would be appreciated - perhaps if there was a 'relight' area that did not clutter up the runway or is there already a location that a glider could be landed that would not affect other uses/launches and still enable a relight to be used?

Hope someone can help.

Steve

Hello,

It is not possible to change time zones.

But you can connect, enter the simulator between 19h30utc and 20h00 utc. Just take off, you dropped the cable and roll on the side.
You have 15 then 90 minutes to make a start.

Many thanks Philippe

I thought that might work but hadn't tried it on line - I had tried it having launched and then cut the connection to avoid possibly disrupting others or the server but then there were obviously no tugs to relaunch me off line.

Will try what you suggest when I have access to the equipment early enough to join a server but am not able to fly until later (before the start gate closes).

Thanks for all the effort that you and your colleagues put in on our behalf - it really is appreciated as demonstrated by the numbers entered.

Steve

EDB, I think you posted in the wrong forum. Normally scenery related topics should be posted in viewforum.php?f=3 and specifically for Northern Norway viewtopic.php?f=3&t=12838
