K23

Postby Peter Newell » Tue Oct 04, 2005 10:05 pm

I now have good drawings for a K23 and im happy to start modelling it if people would like it. So just wondering if it will be popular would be good for inexperienced pilots to practice with. Your thoughts...

Excellent idea! Our club has 3 (not a great number i know) but they're in excellent condition and apprently are a pleasure to fly. Would be an excellent addition to Condor!

Im not a great fan of these kind of gliders but I am sure we could have some fun in them, especially against the PW5 :)

Can the cockpit interior be copied from the ASK21? Are they somewhat similar. It might save you some time, so try to ask Desktopsimmer.

Nice one Peter :) Let me know if you need to use the K21 as a reference 3D model, as they're are kind of similar. Apart from that second seat, the wings are attached slightly higher on the fuselage..... ;)

The fwd cockpit on the K21 again looks similar similar to the K23, so some the parts you can copy over, making life easier.

totally agree stefan, i admit that the glide is not the most desirable but as it outclimbs everything apart from the best pilots in wooden-ships its great for height gains, also fun to fly in formation and spot landings as stefans sig pic shows
