Duo Discus Friday update

Postby StianA » Sat Oct 15, 2005 10:37 pm

Hello!

I promised to post Friday updates of the DuoDiscus, so I'm creating a thread only for these. :)

Here's the first one. I've done very little so far, and I'm pis**ed off by a problem in Max, that means I have to re-construct the whole fuselage. Well, it'll take only 1-2 hours anyway, so no big deal.

The progress will be slow until I get some good pictures.

Thanks! You can probably find 10+ errors on it, since there's a lot still left to do. I just wanted to keep my fridayupdate-promise

But still waiting for reference pics... gah... :?

Lol, thought this was a news update!

Anyway I can hardly talk - got exams at the moment so my non-existant glider modelling is even more non-existent :?

The project looks good, do you require any additional information to finish your project, I have approx 100hrs flying the Duo Discus and maybe able to help if required.

this newsthread really sucks! The duo was put away long ago, as I didn't have more time doing it. I'm entering the military in 2 months, and as I have my exams in the following weeks, no further progress will be done. If any modeller want to restart or take over the project it's ok for me.

sad to hear that you are dropping the project, it's looking very good. If it's ok by you, I'll can pick it up after the ASK-21 is complete. Any useful files send them to george.winnard AT gmail.com (excluded the @ for spam reasons :) ). Also I give joint credit, and you as the primary/main developer. Good Luck for the Exam and Military :)

George,

I have some photo's taken of the Duo Discus that covers the cockpit detail and some from the outside, you are welcome to them.
