szd-32 "foka 5" WIP

Postby metervara » Tue Nov 08, 2005 10:40 am

Started modelling a "Foka 5" yesterday and thought I'd show it here and see what people think. In my opinion it's one of the most beautiful gliders ever...

Anyway, still need some additional modelling (haven't started on the cockpit yet) and then texturing. I'll Post the progress here so anyone who's interested can follow.

Could It be that it looks like a cobra?
if so, check this
if not, then check it too, cause it looks good :)
Think positive, flaps negative.

Yes, they look alike, there from the same company (PZL Bielsko / Allstar PZL Glider).

The cobra is the SZD-36 i think and the Foka 5 is the SZD-32. A notable difference is the tailsection where the Foka 5's fuselage extends past the rudder in a pointy shape. Beautiful isn't it :)

The SZD 24 is also very similar, most notably it doesn't have the T-tail section but a more conventional one.
