No he can't.

Lowlands and Speedbattle have agreed that they will only host sceneries which have passed the official Scenery QA testing.

West Swiss has Not passed the QA test.

I am not sure, if it is a good way to the future, Chris!

Then you don't understand that the reputation of Condor depends on high quality, fully working program and scenery. If you have any issue with this I suggest you take it up with GR and Uros.

Don't worry OXO. The site they send you to to download it doesn't work (for me anyay) it says I am a BOT. WTF is a BOT? But I agree with you this scenery should be avoided till it passes QA. Have these guys asked for a QA check?

Sorry but I flew already on this scenery and as a user I DO NOT see valid reason to avoid it :!:

The Quality Assurance Test is another thing. I understood that the goal is to check compliance of a scenery with objective technical standards to the benefit of users and race organizers. It would be good that the standard criterias made public so that scenery designers can anticipate before starting a scenery. I am also curious to know which criteria West Swiss did not pass.

Yup I agree with you, I know that's the main reason I was first off the QA chopping block since certain people took offense to my neutral view that sceneries don't always have to go through QA to be just as good. The only difference is with QA there's more eyes looking for bugs. Whereas without it, it simply takes longer. It doesn't mean the quality is sub-standard, which has been shown already in the past. I can certainly see a dividing line if QA tries to be forced on people. I could see it hurting the community long term. If quality control is vital then the outline of what checks/tests should be listed in a sticky and the developers make the decision if they wish to go through QA or run the checks themselves. To try and force QA on people or refusing to host isn't right IMO. But sites are entitled to host whatever files they want.

If Speed Battle etc refuse to host non QA scenery. There are other ways to get the scenery hosted for those that don't want to go through QA. I've set-up a FTP server on my Macintosh, there are solutions for Windows to that can easy turn a computer into an FTP server. Or there's always BitTorrent. Any scenery that the official sites refuse to host I'd be happy to put up on my FTP server for download. Just PM me for more details :)

Scenery downloaded.. I'm off to install and do a test flight shortly :D
