 Post subject: Slovakia V2 scenery was released

Slovakia scenery ver.2.0 is ready

and is possible to download it from SpeedBattle. Thank you very much to SpeedBattle team for hosting!

Installation

Uninstallation of older version before installation of V2 is recommended, Slovakia 2 has a new folder SlovakiaCE, older version has a folder Slovakia(CE). So it is a possible to have old and new version together. After a installation of Slovakia 2.0 you need delete Slovakia 1.0 manually - folder Slovakia(CE) from Landscapes.

What is new in version 2.0

New airports:
• Rybnik
• Glitwice
• Brno-Tuřany (LKTB, international)
• Zábřeh
• Ostrava-Mošnov (LKMT, international)
• NáměÅ¡ť nad Oslavou (LKNA, military)
• Přerov (LKPO, military)
• Otrokovice (private national airport)
• KoÅ¡ťany (emergency strip for Martin)
• Frýdlant
• Holešov
• Kyjov

Improvement
• New and rewritted 3D objects
• New textures
• 7 realistic airports
• Most of airports have a semi-realistic runways, with default airport objects only
• Major rivers, roads and trees areas are realistic
• New maps for PDA
• Number of 3D object was reduced from 130 000 to 85 000 for better performance

It looks, that new version is more friendly to older PC and has a better FPS than Slovakia 1.0

Special thanks to Bumper and JBr, which created 7 realistic airport for my scenery. Many thanks also to all, who helped me with development and testing of the scenery and to all, which sent me some small gifts to my PayPal account or wrote kind words about my scenery. It was a great mental support and motivation for me to create a new version of scenery.

I am happy, that we were able to finish scenery just in time as a Chrismas present for all Condor community. I wish you Merry Christmas and Happy New Year (with Condor, of course).

Thank you so much. Also im very surprised about LKMT, its a very nice airport in the real. Nice to land with a Cessna C525 ;)

But not so satisfy with glider, when as a second to final is, after you, a B737. :) Fortunatelly we have not so heavy traffic at Condor.

I did notice that the airport Otrokovice has an altitude of 0, is this correct? I am making up the new turn point files for XC Soar :D
