SlovakiaCE 3.0 scenery was finished and is ready for distribution. Slovakia 3.0 is a last version, this project was closed. Next my project will be Czech scenery (about 2x greater area  - special thanks to Geoff (ASH33), which created a terrain and is a member of our developers team), release probably summer 2008, and then Slovakia scenery (new terrain, whole Slovak republic, part of Ukraine) as a descendant of SlovakiaCE 3.0 - probably summer 2009.

Public release will be 1.10.2007 for whole condor community from SpeedBattle pages as usually, premium release started from 1.9.2007 for part of community from CCC (Condor Competition Center) pages - http://www.competition-center.com/competitions.php - login page . It needs some explanation I think.

Firstly, we all know, that our Condor world is so rich, how many people is doing something for us all. We have a group of people, which are creating a sceneries, beta testing, webs, greater races, Add-ons and of course main condor download and races center, SpeedBatte. Nobody from these people want have a profit from his work, but on the other side we cannot expect, that these people will invest many of their free time and money for others without participation of whole community. Some our activities do not need many costs, like sceneries and add-ons, but hosting professional servers with high speed is a very expensive. I was thinking, how I can support SpeedBattle, which is very important for us - scenery download, everyday races - you all know, how many work Stefan and Andreas are doing for us every day. You can to say - I would like to do also some things for others, but I have no skills create scenery, I have no possibility create web or host a greater races or I have no free time. But people like this can also be very important for our community, if they will support SpeedBattle by small donations, etc. starting fee for SBC08 for covering a costs with whole SpeedBattle project. Only about 150 peple did it now and I must say, that I am just a little bit sad from this small support of community with about 2000-3000 people, which are using SB services. I do not believe, that 5 euros could be a problem for anybody if he really wants to participate at common projects of our Condor world. So I found this solution: People, which are doing something for others, must have any reward as a thank you for their entusiasmus. So that is a reason, why only these four groups of people will have my scenery one month before.

1. Condor scenery developers, Beta testers, Web masters, Web hosters, Race organizers, SBC team and ADD-On authors.

2. People, which are sending a starting fee SBC08 or "CCC friend" contribution to SpeedBattle and are helping keep this major condor centrum alive.

3. Participants of CZSK Cup races which was registered to this cup before 31.8.2007. Slovakia 3.0 is a official scenery for this CUP from Monday 3.9.2007.

4. People, which are sending me a small support to my PayPal account or helping me as a beta testers, or helped me with photos, informations and by other ways. This group of people (15 donators and about 50 testers and collaborators) have one advantage: direct access to my ftp with beta versions, so they will get also new project Czech republic by four beta versions for testing (25,50,75 and 100% of area) + final version free and as a first.

Although I have many of people from these groups at my mail database, at the case, that I  forgot anybody from these groups or if you will not get a my mail with direct links to scenery download from any spam reason, be so kind and contact me by pm, I will give you my scenery with my greatest pleasure.  And, of course, if you are interesting about my scenery just now, the doors are open for everybody…. Download pages from CCC are opening this downloads for CCC friends and SBC participants with fee automatically

Instalation

There is a installation pack: Full install setup. Folder is the same as for Slovakia 2.5, SlovakiaCE so is not possible to use old and new version together. Keep your full setup file of Slovakia 2.5 if you would like use it at the future.

What is new in version 3.0

· New textures and scenery design
· New trees textures and trees coverage philosophy (higher realism, better FPS)
· Four new realistic airports
· Railroads and trains
· New realistic objects by Z.Kussior, M.Žejdlík, Bedo and Jiří Brožek
· New thermal map
· New PDA maps

Loading time of this scenery is about 15-20 percent longer than Slovakia 2.5 and it could be a problem for joining to MP (start slot requirement) for people with very slow PC. Patch 12 solve this issue, but if you will have problem like this, there is also a another solution so contact me by pm for technical support. FPS and performace of Slovakia 3.0 is the same as 2.5, maybe better.
Many thanks to Stefan and Andreas from SpeedBattle for distribution of my scenery!

Milos (Cadfael)

Congratulations Milos!

You are setting the standard for Condor sceneries.
For me this is a perfect mix of photoreal and terragen textures, I´m really impressed.

Thank you very much for spending so much time and know how for us.

Edit: A freeflightserver is running...

Thank you all for kind words. I believe, that new technology of cities for Czech republic will increase this standart at the future - when I am testing it now, Slovakia 3.0 looks, ehm.. poor. Maybe if will be a interest and Wiki which was announcement will be released, we can save our time for research at this area and share our "technologies" with other scenery creators.

+1
outstanding,
what impresses me most is the uniformity of texture colors for the woods and tree (the objects) colors ... and placing trees along the rivers ... okay the whole scenery :D

And the best part is that when testing a scenery from milos you have to work real hard to find any problem and v 3.0 you have so much to see :)
